Restructured Book. Bird Etiquette: The Redwing

£125.00

Bird Etiquette. A restructured book offering tips on dealing with birds in the field.

Made from an old book, cut out and filled with figures created using paper clay I made from the pages cut out of the book. The book was destined for landfill – I hope it doesn’t mind having a new life.

Size: 13cm x 19cm x 2.5cm.

Regretfully, I do not sell my work outside of the UK.

“Redwings, migrating on dark nights, carry a whistle to let other birds know where they are. You may hear them but you won’t see them. If you must look for them, take a dog with you. Redwings particularly enjoy whistling sharply in the ears of late-night dog walkers.”
