Restructured Book. Bird Etiquette: Nesting Habits

£125.00

Bird Etiquette. A restructured book offering tips on dealing with birds in the field.

Made from an old book, cut out and filled with figures created using paper clay I made from the pages cut out of the book. The book was destined for landfill – I hope it doesn’t mind having a new life.

Size: 13cm x 18cm x 3cm.

Regretfully, I do not sell my work outside of the UK.

“Many birds work hard every year to make a safe, warm nest in which to raise their young. It is helpful to leave out warm nesting material, such as sheep’s wool, for your garden birds. Some males like to impress by offering good-quality nesting material to their mates. Eventually the females might even use it to line their nests.”
